About Simpliq
Indie space for hands-on building
Simpliq is a personal playground for exploring new technology—especially AI tooling—and turning that exploration into real, usable products. It’s where I experiment, learn and build things again.
I’ve spent nearly two decades in tech, mostly in data roles. Over time, for all sorts of practical reasons, I drifted away from hands-on application development. As the tooling and language landscape kept exploding, it felt increasingly hard to get a foothold again. Vibe-coding has closed that gap. With modern AI tools, I can move from idea to working software quickly, without needing to stay fluent in every language or ecosystem. I still work in the IDE and command line, but I let AI handle the syntax while I focus on structure, behaviour and product intent. And while keeping up with the latest models and integrations could easily be a full-time job, Simpliq gives me a space to dip in whenever time permits.
Simpliq isn’t meant to showcase deep software-engineering prowess; it’s a space that enables me to build at all—and to see where ideas go when the barrier to making something is low. The projects here are the ones that proved useful enough to share, and they’ll evolve naturally as I explore new technologies and attempt bigger ideas.
